What is Form 12A for in (PF) Provident Fund

Form 12A is a registration form that employers use to register under the Employees’ Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.

It is used for the initial registration of establishments that are required to contribute to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and to obtain an Establishment Code Number.

Once the registration is complete, the employer is required to contribute to the EPF on a monthly basis for all eligible employees.
