What is Form 3A for in (PF) Provident Fund

Form 3A is a monthly contribution statement filed by the employer with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in India.

It contains details of the contributions made by the employer and the employees towards the Employee Provident Fund (EPF), Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS), and Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) Scheme.

Form 3A is used to verify the deposit of the contributions made by the employer and employees to the respective schemes.

The employer must submit Form 3A for each employee enrolled in the EPF, EPS, and EDLI schemes every month, along with the monthly contribution statement in Form 12A.

The form helps in ensuring that the contributions made by the employer and employees are accurate and timely.
