In India, any word, logo, symbol, numerals, shape of goods, packaging, combination of colors, or any other unique mark that can be graphically represented and distinguishes the goods or services of one person from those of others can be trademarked.
The mark should also be capable of being represented in the Trademark Register in a clear and precise manner. However, the trademark should not be offensive, generic, deceptive, or contrary to law or morality.
